Tick Tock. August 15 2021

Well here we are about 13 days after I got my beat back. I was loosing my beat but install a heart ticker coach and things get better soon after. My take on this whole mess...

TIK-TOK i GOT MY BEAT BACK

Tuesday night {8-10-2021} I was not feeling to good.
Sat around guessing what was going on. Called the paramedic about 3:30 AM. I figured they could guess better than I could. Got a ride in an ambulance they wouldn't blow the siren though.
Dr guy thought that the pacemaker would fix me up. Off to the Cath Lab. They fixed me up with shinny new tiker timer. Next day a lady comes in with fancy computer and hooks me up to it. she decided that it was not working all to well. well ain't that nice! back to the cath-lab. They did an R&R (remove and repair) and we are tiken and a tocken.
A little scary but the Dr.s seem pretty good. If you need a pace maker at any time get one made in New Orleans, it is bound to have a better beat.

So far all is good. There seems to be a lot of stuff I have to watch out for. Magnetic and electrostatic forces (welding). lifting 10-15 lbs max. The Dr wants to have follow up appointment 10 days after Surgery, he is not available till 16 days out.

I am just happy to be alive and bitchin.

I think all is well right now. Had several things I needed to get done and I am winding most of them up.

just talked with a lady who wants to garden for us. That will be a big help.

Disappointment & Leprechaun's.

Well 14+ years ago when  my Surgeon Dr Ciesic saved my life with some pretty nifty surgery and installed stents in my
aorta/Illiac to control the leak. I saw him the following 2 years for follow-up. I started follow up at Palo Alto Medical Clinic. Lynne sent cards to him over the years thanking him for the lifesaving work. She sent a Saint Patrick's day card last week and it came back as not here no more. An internet search revealed that he has been fighting his own deamons for the last 3 years or so.

I feel So sad for him and wish there was a way to reach out and be there for him. After all he was there for me when I needed him.

Check up time

I went the Clinic February 7 for my annual check up. I got a sonogram of my aorta & stents. My Dr, a vascular surgeon, was happy with the results. 14 years ago I had an AAA, abdominal aortic aneurysm,  I was hospitalized for a month. I spent a year getting up to speed. Slowed me down but I feel good and have no restrictions.  I am a pretty  lucky guy!

Well, Top of the Morning to ya!

Today is November 3 2020 and the Presidential election is about to get underway.  We will know more come this evening...or will we? We have our City Council election today also. Hopefully this will bring an end to the bickering and suspected graft going on just down the street.

When we bought our house in 1989 I was telling a friend of mine about our Queen Ann Cottage and he said "Have I got something for you".  He showed me 4 8 foot sections of Victorian fence. said I could haul them away.  We have allowed them to age in our back yard for 30 years and had them reconfigured in to a fence for the front yard.  It is spectacular IMHO.

Well it is now February 9, 2021. Trump lost and Joe Biden is the new  President. We will see how this goes. We are going to impeach Trump after he is out of office? Well that is it for this post.

Paige Elizabeth

She is here tonight!

Paige Elizabeth born in San Louis Obispo

We received a call around 8 PM tonight Sept 7, 2007 that she had arrived. Renee & Peg are excited with another grand daughter. Quinn is doing well

It is a new year! and none two soon.

Well being home since March 2020 has been an experience.  We have finished a myriad of projects. The first floor restoration is complete. We are thinking of painting kitchen, new hinges & pulls. Nothing confirmed at this point.
We did 2 new fences in the front. Decorated for Christmas for the first time in 10 years. Both of these together have given us different outlook of the house.
